Final Week!

So firstly, Chris did a 21st Spotlight, much to the dismay of Backer Lee Altpeter, it was not about manholes, but rather, Kid Tiger! Exclusive to our Heroic Pledge Backers!

And, Chris and Ben teased this on facebook in the Alphas Group.

That could be a preview of Captain Liberty and some of the other characters we are hoping to get unlocked. As well as Black Mamba, Battery and Wraith. Which would you be more excited to hear about?

Dear 1$ Backers

So we have been letting people know, that the $90 Pledge Tier and $210 Pledge Tier could be more in the pledge manager, and Kid Tiger MAY not be available to those Late Pledges. We say this because we want you to know ahead of time. We appreciate any and ALL support you can/have given us, but if you are on the fence, now is the time to commit and help your fellow backers unlock some sweet new Alphas teased above!

A Sneak Peak at your new Bystander, more models and a Spotlight!

Let's start the weekend off right Alphas!

First, we of course kept Chris at his 1/day Alpha Spotlight, so without any further guiding of the Lilly, let's learn about Prestige!

So, what about that Bystander Sculpt we unlocked for the game? Well, now you will have 8 Bystanders in 2 Sculpts, each with their own card, behavior and as their own objective in a few optional rules to add to skirmishes. What's Titan City without another few to save right?

So, we have a lot going into this final push for the last 7 days and last 48 hours folks, so stick with us and let's keep fighting for Titan City! 

And, let's end this short update with a few more gorgeous digital sculpts that Elle colored up for you guys.

Alright everyone, so let's keep moving forward and then hit a stride for that big final push. We have said it at least 100 times during this campaign, small community we may be, but you guys make it the absolute best experience a Publishing Group could have :D

Well, we had a decent day today, I hope you all have as well. Today Nick got back to us with an enthusiastic preview for Alphas, which you can see here!

Stretch Goal and more stuffs!

Not a big update, but still important. Before we get to the update details, look at the pretty!

We hit our first Stretch Goal and should have Ron's final sculpt for it soon. You folk know bystanders serve a huge purpose both in the Scenario Books, as well as certain Skirmishes and Optional Rules.

Having another Sculpt isn't essential for the game, but, it will make staring and painting the models more fun. It also let Ben and Chris design slightly different AI for the two types of bystanders. With this 1st Stretch Goal down though, let's dive into the next one;

So you can see at $25,000 USD, we unlock a NEW Thug Sculpt for the Fire Street Gang, and cards for them in the Scenario Books. This is a really small, easy Stretch Goal we can add in to give more variance to the Scenarios for the good guys and baddies that we think you will enjoy, and like  the Bystander Sculpt, we think it adds some variance to that painting.

Beyond that, we have a few questions coming in we thought we would answer.

Q. Will there be more Villains?

A. Yes. There is a mix of Heroes and Villains in the added Alpha Stretch Goals.

Q. How does the Post Campaign Stretch Goals work?

A. The ladder you have seen will continue for some time (tbd based on production schedule) after the campaign, and because of the amazing service Backerkit is, the added funding should be public, allowing you to continue following along like you would on Kickstarter, post campaign!

Stretch Goals, Co-Op, Pledge Manager and Random Previews

You guys have officially Unlocked a Social Goal!

So Alphas: Volume 1 has 6 Skirmish Scenarios in the Rulebook. Your efforts have helped unlock a single Page for only our Kickstarter Backers, which will utilize one of the Board Layouts we have talked about.

Now just because we hit the Facebook Social Goal doesn't mean we should stop sharing the campaign, but excellent work!

The Scenario

The Scenario you guys unlocked is a bank heist! By the end of the campaign, we should have the page finalized and we plan to have Ben and Chris play the game live in the final 48 Hours!

Board Layouts

Here are some examples of Board Layouts! Enjoy :) 

While we understand that modular boards are cool for some people, we would argue these points;

• Modular Boards would not offer much to the gameplay of Alphas, as the Building, Obstacles and Scenery Setup is what really changes the landscape of Alphas.
• Our Goal would have had to been higher. More Cuts, Possibly more errors and warping are all things that happen often with modular boards.
• It would have allowed more mixing of say boards from Tidal's home under the sea and Titan City? That didn't fit the guys vision for the game.
• Play mats. 3x3 Play mats of the themed sides are important for future support. 

We know modular is cool to many, and we understand that, but again, the above points.

These digitally colored figures are awesome! We are still excited to start showing off what Taylor's team has done with the figures, and we will when they finish, but we think these digital ones are pretty cool as well!

Pledge Manager

So, provided we keep our heads above water and continue this upward trend, we will be running a pledge manager at the end of the campaign through Backerkit. When we do, we will continue running updates Post-Campaign, as we raise more money, we may unlock more. The team will be continuing with Public Posts and Updates Post-Campaign with said Stretch Goal Unlocks. We aren't 100% sure how long this will be going after the campaign, but when we have a manufacturing schedule we will have more specific dates.

So what's going to be in the post campaign for sure? Buildings. Buildings of all kind... well not all kind. We will not be offering Resin Buildings... that would be nuts. Cool, but nuts. We want to offer more POST campaign for cost reasons for you guys! We would need to take into account the cost of both Kickstarter and the % Backerkit takes if we did it during the campaign. 

Optional Buys

So you guys are aware by now, that we have 1 Optional Buy, and while we don't subscribe to the idea that Optional Buys should be Stretch Goals, in a way they are, because you need to get to X funding to make X Optional Buys viable financially. So we may add more during/post campaign as the % raises :D 

But for now, if you haven't gotten the 1st Optional Buy, take a look. It's a great value!

Keep that suit on, we have more Titan City to save!
